摘    要:香港开埠之前,当地并没有饮食牛奶的习俗.开始时只有少数定居香港的达官富商在自家庭院中饲养一两头奶牛.当地农民偶尔也挤些水牛奶在市场销售.养牛饮奶的"西人生业"逐渐发展起来.1886年香港出现第一家牛奶公司,之后奶牛场逐渐增多.1896年发生牛病流行,初兴的奶牛业遭受重大打击.港英政府为此制订一系列的奶牛饲养和乳品生产法...

Abstract:Before opening the port of Hong Kong,there was no custom of drinking milk everyday except a few high ranking officials and merchant princes who raised one or two cows in their own yards.Local peasants occasionally sold some milk of buffalo in the market.As western people engaging businesses became more and more in Hong Kong,cattle raising and milk drinking emerged.The first dairy company of Hong Kong was founded in 1886 and more afterwards.In 1896,there happened a serious epidemic cattle plague in Hong Kong...
