丁香对赤拟谷盗蛹和成虫的致死作用

摘    要:桃金娘科植物丁香Syzygium aromaticum可以作为药材、香料。研究了其干燥花蕾粉末对赤拟谷盗蛹和成虫的致死作用。结果表明:丁香对赤拟谷盗蛹羽化有明显的抑制作用,蛹因不能羽化而死亡;对赤拟谷盗成虫有致死作用并且致死时间随着赤拟谷盗成虫寿命的不同而不同;赤拟谷盗成虫的耐饥能力强。

Abstract:Syzygium aromaticum,a trad itionalm ed ic inal p lant,has the potential for utilization as a p lant insectic ide.In the present study,pupae and adu lts ofTribolium castaneum(Herbst) were housed w ith sm all amounts ofS.aromaticumflower powder to investigate the le-thality of the p lant for the insect.The resu lts showed that ne ither 24-hour-old nor 4-day-old pupae of the pest em erged from the stor-age w ithS.aromaticumpowder.Several of the 6-day-old pupae d id em erge but they d ied the next day.The adu lts tested were not ab le to survive storage w ithS.aromaticumpowder,e ither.It is thus conc luded thatS.aromaticumpowder can substantially inh ib it the ec lo-sion ofT.castaneumpupae and has h igh lethality for its adu lts.
