Reflections on the Analysis Results of Determinating Total Cyanide in Water Samples

Objective] The research aimed to study the considerations of total cyanide determination in water samples.Method] Through investigating such as characteristics of cyanide,calibrating potassium cyanide stock solution concentration,the nature of chloramines T,the nature of isonicotinic acid,chromogenic temperature,the factors of affecting the experimental results were analyzed,and the considerations through experiment was summarized.Result] In the process of determinating total cyanide,the influence of laboratory reagents and operational factors on the determine results were bigger.Operation must be carefully,try one＇s best to avoid artificial effect.When calibrating a solution,it should be noted titration endpoint,increasing the number of parallel samples,to prevent excessive deviation.In the reagent preparation,try to pay attention to the exact concentration of the reagent.Conclusion] The study provides the theoretical basis for the monitoring of the water environment.
