爆裂玉米品种间杂交种研究初报

选择地理远缘、优良的爆裂玉米品种进行杂交可以获得超过优良亲本（综合种）产量１０％左右的杂交种。增产的主要贡献是双穗率提高，空秆率下降——每公顷有效穗数的增加。杂交种农艺性状无显著改变，杂交种籽粒的爆裂性状与优良亲本相似。

Preliminary Study on Intervarietal Hybridization of Pop Corn

The experimental results indicated the yield of intervarietal hybrids from geographical distance and good varieties would raise 10% than their parents.The increasement of double ears and the decrease of empty stalk were main reason for obtaining high yield because their agronomical characters did not obviously changed.The character of pop corn kernal wes similar to the parents.
