树冠重叠的概念及其面积的计算方法

通过对林木树冠之间重叠的分析，提出了关于树冠重叠的概念和类型，并利用积分方法，推导出了林木树冠发生重叠时的重叠面积和重叠率的计算公式，以树冠冠形在水平面上的投影呈圆形为实例，说明了公式的应用方法和计算过程，结果表明，树冠重叠的理论基础是严紧的，计算方法也便于应用。

THE CONCEPT OF TREE CROWM OVERLAP AND ITS CALCULATING METHODS OF AREA

The concept and type of tree crown overlap were defined through analysing function between the factors of tree crown overlap. The formula of the overlap area and the overlap rate were derived from its definite integral form. At the same time. many formulae are acquired when the projective figures of tree crown are circles. The application ways of these formulae were illustrated with aconcrete calculating process. The result shows that the theoretical base of the concept is firm and the methods can be applied easily.
