Abstract: | The results of critical tests on methyridine in naturally parasitized sheep are given. The drug proved to be efficient against most species found in the small intestine. It was less effective against those in the large intestine. Against the abomasal worms, Haemonchus and Ostertagia, activity was generally poor. The drug appeared to show activity against lungworm and to reduce larval development in the faeces after dosing. |
