我国2000-2012年夏季森林火灾分布规律

Distribution of Summer Forest Fires in China in 2000-2012

The paper described the annual occurrence of forest fires in China from 2000 to 2012, and analyzed the spatial and temporal distribution of summer forest fires. The number of forest fires inter-annually remained stable between 2000 and 2012, stayed high in 2003-2005, and reached the highest peak in 2008, while the number went downward in recent years. The number of summer forest fires remained at a high level between 2003 and 2007, especially high in 2003 and 2006, while dropping down in recent five years. More frequent forest fires occurred in summer in Central and Southwestern China, while major and extra large forest fires erupted the most in northeast area of China. The summer forest fires occurred in China is characterized with high level, heavy destruction, large fire area and large affected forest area.
