论我国养猪业的可持续发展

养猪业在中国的发展很快,自20世纪80年代以来,中国养猪业的发展快于其他农业产业。到2002年底,我国的猪肉总产量达到4326 6万t,名列世界第一,这一产量占到世界猪肉总产量的45%以上。养猪业是我国重要的农业产业之一,我国有很长的养猪历史,养猪业未来的可持续发展对我国农村经济的发展是十分重要的。从总体上看,我国的养猪业还有一定的成本优势,养猪业还有较大的发展空间。为了促进我国养猪业的可持续发展,我国政府应制定出有利于养猪业发展的政策和法规,以降低我国养猪业的饲料成本,以及增加对促进对养猪业发展有重要作用的科技投入。

Analyses on the Sustainable Development of Pig Industry in China

Pig industry has developed in China since 1980's and progressed faster than other industry in agriculture. By the end of year 2002, Chinese pig industry, with nearly 4.33 million tons of output, has ranked the first in the world. Pig industry has been one of important sectors in Chinese agriculture. It is very important to promote sustainable development of the pig industry in China. China still has a big space to develop its pig industry because the cost of most livestock products in China is lower than that in other countries. To promote sustainable development of pig industry, Chinese government must pay more attention to decrease the cost of pig forage and increase the investment of science and technology on pig industry.
