A vacuum extraction procedure for N,K, and conductivity evaluation of potted crop media |
| |
Abstract: | Abstract An extraction procedure for potted crop media is proposed which removes under vacuum a solution from an intact pot. The vacuum extracted solution had nitrate and potassium concentrations and conductivity lower than a solution obtained by saturated paste extract procedure. A high correlation between the conductivity of solution obtained by vacuum and saturated paste extract methods permitted an interpretation of the vacuum extraction results based on ranges suggested for a saturated paste extract. |
