| Abstract: | Objective To investigate the inhibition of isorhamnetin in the growth and proliferation of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells.Methods CNE-2 cells were treated with different doses（10,20,40 and 80 mg/L） of isorhmnetin.Their inhibition rate,activity,colony forming and morphological change were detected by MTT assay,trypan blue stain,plate culture and invert microscope,respectively.Results The growth inhibition rate of CNE-2 cells in isorhamnetin groups was higher than that in control group（P0.05）,and its inhibition was dose-dependent.Furthermore,isorhamnetin treatment resulted in inactivity,colony forming reduction and morphological change in CNE-2 cells.Conclusion Isorhamnetin can significantly inhibit the growth and proliferation of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells. |
