| Abstract: | The authors conducted an experiment to investigate factors that could influence the tensile slrength of scarf-jointed poplar veneer. They made several kinds of scarf-joints differing in scarf length and angle. The behavior of those scarf-jointed veneers under a load was observed. The relation between veneer tensile strength and scarf length and angle,were then analyzed. |
