| Abstract: | The advantages of science and technology and education of tropical agriculture in the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences and the South China University of Tropical Agriculture were introduced in the paper. Main situations, measures and experiences of these two units in serving the economic and social development of ethnic regions of Hainan province were also described. |
