异曲同工译曹诗——浅析《红楼梦》诗词英译中的文化过滤问题

本文立足于《红楼梦》诗词的特点的分析，以语言学和翻译理论为依据，对比杨宪益夫妇译本和霍克思译本，对其中附载的文化因素的不同过滤方式进行分析，总结其经验得失，并试图提出补救或改进的一些粗浅看法。

Different Approaches to Cultural Infiltration from the Source Poems of A Dream of Red Mansion into Two English Versions

On the basis of the study of the original poems and with the help of the linguistics and translation theories, this paper aims at analyzing and contrasting different approaches to cultural infiltration from the source poems into the two English versions: A Dream of Red Mansion by the Yangs and The Story of the Stone by Hawkes and Minford. With enlightenment from the analysis, the author tries to pass judgments on and draws lessons form their respective means and effects, during the course of which the author''s own opinions on possible remedy or improvement are also put forward.
