| Abstract: | This paper presents a report on the
pharmacognostical study of purpleblow maple, Acer truncatum.Histological examination and
qua-litative determination of the tannin content in the bark of root; inbud,leaf, twig and fruit were
conducted. The protein and oil content in the seed was also determined with the microchemical
method. |
