| Abstract: | Pseudorabies virus is an important infective agent causing pregnant sowstillbirth with serios economic loss.In the autumn of 1990 at Qing Shan Breeding Swine Farm ofWuhan suburban had an outbreak of abortion in pigherd.From four cases of stillbirth piglets,samples of brain and visceral organs were inoculated for virus isolation.The cultured cell showedtypical cytopathic effect.And the isolate had been further confirmed by electromicroscopicexamination and by fluorecent technic with monoclonal antiboby against pseudorabies virus. |
