| Abstract: | Silicon is one of useful nutritional ingredients for growth of Rice and has important influence on yield and quality of it. Analyzing current situation of studying silicon nutrition and fertilizer, this paper summaries the research works on capacity for supply silicon of soil and reasons to add silicon, silicon uptake properties of rice, physiological effects of silicon fertilizer, impacts of silicon on Rice Production, and these indicate silicon play an important role in rice nutrition. |
