| 摘 要： | GAP分析即保护生物多样性的地理学方法（A Geographic Approach to Protect Biological Diversity），是快速概观生物多样性集中要素的分布和保护状态的一种方法，是一个寻找保护区系统中没有被代表或充分代表的物种及植被类（Gaps）进而确定其所在区域的过程。它集中在生物有机体更高层，基于生境保护和多物种保护的双重目的，已被证明是保护大尺度生物多样性行之有效的方法之一。在对GAP分析的概念、内涵、一般步骤和精度评估阐述的基础上，分析了GAP分析的优势和不足，并探讨了其在生物多样性保护中的应用现状及在中国发展的前景展望。
