Abstract:Oil rate and fatty acids content were analyzed in Idesia palycarpa Maxim fruits,sampled from nine different geographical populations in the main I. palycarpa distribution areas in China and one cultivated in the process of fruitsripening,were analyzed in this paper. Oil rate of fruits were measured with a national standard method and fatty acids content of fruits was quantitatively determined by using a pre-column derivatization gas chromatograph ( GC) with the reference substarces.
