甘蔗褪绿线条病的研究 Ⅰ、病名、病状、病情和传播

本文首次明确甘蔗褪绿线条病(Sugarcane chlorotic streak)普遍存在于我国福建、广西和云南蔗区,局部地区的部分品种的发病率甚高。该病发病初期,叶片上产生正反两面形状相同的淡黄色褪绿条纹,后条纹可发展或愈合成长条纹。条纹中间部分坏死,呈淡褐色或灰白色,严重时叶片枯死。条纹可出现在叶片的中间、边缘或顶部。病株还可见有可逆性萎蔫现象。该病可由病株的蔗茎和病土传播,但不由病叶汁液、甘蔗黄蚜(Aphis sacchari)、甘蔗粉蚧(Saccharicoccus sacchari)和甘蔗扁角飞虱(Perkinsiellasaccharicida)传播。

STUDIES ON SUGARCANE CHLOROTIC STREAK I. BETTER NOMENCLATURE, SYMPTOMS, INCIDENCE AND TRANSMISSION

Sugarcane chlorotic streak is commonly found in the provinces of Fujian, Guangxi and Yunnan, China. The contamination percentage of the disease was rather high in some cultivars growing in certain areas. The distinct symptom of the disease was the appearance on the leaves of palely yellowish or greenish stripes with wavy, irregular margins. The stripes were equally visible on both surfaces of the leaves, usually measured 0.2 to 1.7,even as big as 2.0 cm in width and in various lengths.Necrotic areas or sections occurred in the older stripes. Reversible wiltings could also be observed, especially in the summer. The results of the transmission tests showed that the disease could be transmitted by disseased cuttings of sugarcane and infected soils, but not by the sap squeezed from diseased leaves or infected by Aphis sacchari, Saccharicoccus sacchari and Perkinsiella saccharicida. "Sugarcane chlorotic stripe" disease was described previously as"Sugarcane chlorotic streak". This is a better nomenclature for the disease.
