象虱成虫光镜和扫描电镜的形态学研究

本文描述采自重庆动物园,从缅甸引进亚洲象体的象虱成虫。首次描述的结构是:足各节刚毛的分布、数量和钟形感器,触角 V 节顶端栓所具有的性双态,腹部腹面的皮棘,雄虫阳茎囊上的两型感觉孔。纠正了不少过去文献上报道的错误,特别是口器和触角上的感器。象虱的口器,既不同于食毛目的直翅型口器,又和虱目的虱型口器相异。根据口器的双重功能,建议创立一种新型刺吸式口器——喙虱型口器。同时,提出成立喙虱目的新论据。

MORPHOLOGICAL STUDY OF THE ADULT STAGE OF ELEPHANT LOUSE HAEMATOMYZUS ELEPHANTIS WITH LIGHT AND SCANNING ELECTRON MICROSCOPY(INSECTA:RHYNCOPHTHIRAPTERA)

This paper describes the adult of the elephant louse Haematomyzus elephantis Piaget collected from the Asian elephant imported from Burma at Chongqing Zoo. The distribution of the sensory setae and the campaniform organs on the legs, the existence of sexual diamorphism of the sensory pegs in the apical part of segment V of the antenna,the abdominal scales with serrated edge,the phallic sac of the male with two types of sense pores,are described for the first time. It corrected several mistakes reported in the literature,especially that is the mouth' parts and the sensillia of the antenna. The structural peculiarities of the mouthparts of H.elephantis are different from Anoplura and Mallophaga.According to the two different functions of the mouth- parts,the creation of a new type of piercing mouthparts,Rhynchophthirapteran type is suggested.Meantime,new argument concerns the order Rhyncophthiraptera is proposed.
