| Abstract: | In this paper,the experiment and study on the pipeline batch transportation of products carried out worldwide is introduced, the mechanism of contamination spreading between two miscible liquids flowing successively in a single pipeline and factors which affect mixing are analyzed. Calculations of virtual axial dispersion coefficient and prediction methods of volume of the mixture are surveyed. Some views of non-homogenous mixing process are proposed. |
