草鱼嗅觉有关器官形态结构的初步观察

本文对草鱼嗅觉有关器官—嗅囊、嗅板、嗅球和嗅茎的形态结构进行了观察,并对鲤鱼的上述器官的结构作了对比观察。

A PRELIMINARY OBSERVATION ON OLFACTORY ORGANS OF CTENOPHARYNGODON IDELLUS

The observation on olfactory organs of ctenopharyngodon idellus was based on anatomy and different histological staining.The olfactory organs consist of nose-capsules, olfactory lamellae, bulbs and stalks. There are a large number of olfactory lamellae which increase with the age.The mucosa epithelium of lamella is pseudostratified columnar epithelium which consists of four forms of cells, namely, olfactory, supporting, basal and goblet cells.The olfactory bulb may be divided into four layers, namely, fela or external coat, nervous fiber, nerve cell body and centre axis layers. The fela may be further divided into simple squamous epithelium, dense connective tissue and loose connective tissue stratum.Most of acidophilic cells are located among the areolar connective tissue in the olfactory bulb and bellow the olfactory epithelium and some of them are dispersed over else-where.The olfactory stalk contains two bundles of nerve fiber: the larger one is the radix mesalis and the smaller is the radix lateralis. They are all connected with the front of the cerebrum, and there is a rhinocoel in the stalk as well.
