Senate, in 1959 (Minutes, page 61), resolved that the Grants Committee be requested to consider where a School of Veterinary Science should be established in New Zealand and for that purpose to hear representations on the subject and, if they think it desirable, to obtain such advice as they deem necessary and to report to the full Executive as soon as practicable.
