摘    要:对谷子(Setaria italica Beauv.)品种郑407幼穗外植体不定芽途径再生植株和幼穗愈伤组织再生植株后代的性状变异进行了研究分析。结果表明:无性系变异发生在愈伤组织形成和继代过程中;R#-2代变异频率达10%,包括质量性状变异和农艺数量性状变异,变异具有高的遗传力和育种应用价值;R#-1代表现半不育或高度不育的单株,其R#-2代出现变异的频率高于R#-1代结实正常的单株。

Abstract:Somaclonal variation on the progeny of plants regenerated by route of adventitious bud of immature young inflorescence and from young inflorescence derived calluses in foxtail millet (Setaria italica Beauv.) was studied with cultivar Zheng 407 in this paper. The result showed that the percentage of variation in the R2 generation was about 10%, a relatively lower number compared to other reports of cereal crops in the literature. The variation in the R2 generation included plant height, days from sowing to heading, spike length, flag leaf length, grain percentage of spike, sterile and other characters and most of them were found to be stable in the R3 generation. The hereditary capacity of these mutations was high and could be used in cultivar improvement program. Lines of R2 generation derived from partially sterile R1 plants gave a higher frequency of variation (20.5%) than those generated from normal R1 plants.
