An Ideological Revolution in Agriculture in China-Thoughts on the View of Putting Forestry in New Order

The author agrees to the view of Prof.Zhang Xunhua of Fudan University that the new order should be forestry,agriculture,animal husbandry,fishery and sideline.He believes that this view will collide with the plundering idea of forest management and management mode adopted in the market economy to be built up in China,and that it also collides with the management idea and management mode of the narrow sense agriculture.This must rouse the whole society to rethink of the function of forests and to have a deep understanding of it,to change the idea and management mode of the narrow sense agriculture,to earnestly implement the development strategy of the great agriculture,to attach importance to the construction of mountain areas,to resolve the problem of irrigation which is the lifeblood of agriculture,to change the traditional custom of the farmers who can only till a field and cannot manage a hill and who must learn to well manage hills and grassland.
