苗木质量评价的研究现状与趋势

如何正确评价苗木质量的问题正受到普遍关注。本文对苗木质量评价的研究现状做了简要介绍。评价苗木质量的指标主要有苗木水分状况,矿物质含量,碳水化合物储量,芽休眠状态,形质指标,根生长潜力,抗冻性和抗逆性等。文章对以上指标的测定方法及各自的特点做了简述,并分析了存在的问题与发展方向。

Current Status and Trends in Researches on Seedling Quality Evaluation

Seedling quality eyaluation has become an issue of concern to all. Since 1970s, great advances have been made in researches on seedling quality eyaluation in countries around the world. China has gained some experiences in this field since the mid 1980s. But more work needs to be done and researches need to be strengthened. At present time the main methods of evaluating seedling quality include: (1) the techniques for determining moisture in seedlings, (2) mineral nutrient content as an index of seedling quality, (3) storage of carbohydrates in seedlings, (4) bud dormancy, (5) morphological traits of seedlings. (6) root growth potential, (7) frost hardiness, and (8) stress resistance. The future trends in researches are: (1) strengthening researches on seedling physiology and biochemistry, (2) comprehensive evaluation of seedling quality in accordance with a multiple index, (3) developing a computer model on seedling quality that can predict seedling survival and growth of various species in particular sites on basis of test results, (4) developing a fast, easy, accurate and reliable method of evaluating seedling quality. Other problems existing are also discussed in this paper.
