黄秋葵品种比较试验初报

选择 4个黄秋葵品种 ,进行品种比较试验。结果表明 :不同的黄秋葵品种 ,其生育期、形态特征有一定的差别 ,单位面积的产量存在着显著的差异 ,各品种的抗病性及抗虫性都比较强。综合看广东黄秋葵表现最好 ,八角黄秋葵与红秋葵次之 ,可以在本地区作为黄秋葵生产推广品种 ;而绿秋葵表现比较差 ,产量低 ,成熟晚 ,不适宜推广。

Tentative compare test on the different varieties of okra

Four varieties of okra were selected in the test. Results indicated among different okra varieties, there were difference in their morphology and growing time, the output of unit area have great significance. The character of resisting disease and pest were all strong. As a whole, Guangdong okra was the best; eight-horn okra and red okra took the second place. As popularized okra varieties, they were not all suitable, but green okra was inferior to the others, its output was low, and the ripe time was behind, so it is unsuitable for extension.
