| Abstract: | Peilianyou Teqing is a good two-line system hybrid rice combination with high yield and wide adaptability which has been applied in commercial production. The characteristics of both its main and ratoon crop in the cropping pattern of single rice-ratoon rice were described and two models, i.e., early season rice-ratoon rice and medium season rice-ratoon rice, were discussed and compared in their advantages and cultural practices. It is indicated that the single rice-ratoon rice cropping pattern of hybrid rice would be of great potential in China. |
