试论高校科研的办学效益

作者在作了较多的调查研究之后,提出了高校科研除具有一般科研单位、生产单位所具有的经济效益和社会效益之外,还具有办学效益。这种办学效益表现在:能提高教师的素质,促进师费队伍的建设;不断充实和更新教学内容,加快教材建设;为教学实验创造良好的条件,能有力地推动实验室建设;为招收研究生创造良好的条件,有力地促进学科建设;为高校增加办学资金。在此基础上还提出了发挥高校科研办学效益应解放好的几个问题,即:进一步加强科研工作,适当增加科研比重;把科研同培养人才进一步结合起来;产业部门和科研管理部门要重视高校科研的办学效益,加强对高校科研工作的支持;把科研办学效益作为考核高校科研工作效益的重要内容之一。

EFFECTS OF SCIENTIFIG RESEARCH ON IMPROVING INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION

This paper summarizes the positive effects of scientific research on improving university education. They include raising the quality of teaehers, enriching the content of textbooks, improving the facilities in labs, creating con—ditions for postgraduate enrollment, and accumulating funds, for university development. Based on this analysis, the paper touches on problems to he solved: increasing the proportion of research, linking it up with fostering qualified scientists and technicians, mobilizing efforts of production and management sectore, add setting these effects as a criterion for assessment of the scientific research in institutions of higher learning。
