| 摘 要： | 从4个方面论述了社区图书馆建立的必要性和作用.公共图书馆是人的终身学校,是一个城市文明程度的直接标志.作为重要的社会文化基础设施,它担负着向广大群众传播科学文化知识的重要使命.一个完善的社区,图书馆是必不可少的文化基础设施.建立社区图书馆不仅是物质文明建设的需要,更是精神文明的需要.它通过图书媒介向读者传播精神文明,完成改造人的精神世界,不断提高国民素质的任务,承裁着社区精神文明建设的使命,引导他们追求自我实现和全面发展,在加快城市文化建设的进程中起着重要作用.
