| Abstract: | A total of ten extracts from different parts of eight medicinal plants that are used in the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders, were evaluated to determine their spasmolytic action on in vitro isolated rat ileum. All extracts were less potent than papaverine, which was used as a positive control. |
