地理信息系统课程教学方法的改革探讨

在高职高专教育中,地理信息系统课程是以培养学生掌握建立各类地理信息系统并使用该地理信息系统解决生产实际问题为目的专业课程,而有别于本科院校教学中的理论学习与系统软件的开发.但现行的学习方法是把某一个地理信息系统软件的功能、命令、表操作、图形处理等全面学习掌握后再投入使用,这种教学方法已不适合高职高专的学科教学要求.因此,要进行改革,要根据课程特点,在教学内容、教学方法等方面研究出一套符合课程发展及其技术应用需求的新型教学模式,促进地理信息技术的推广与普及.

"Geographic information system" curriculum teaching method reform discussion

In higher vocational education,the curriculum "Geographic information system" is to train the student to establish each kind of geographic information system and use this geographic information system to solve production actual problem,but does not include the theoretical study and system software development which were required in undergraduate course.But actual study method is to understand all the function,command,table operation and graph treatment,which misfits the teaching need for higher vocational education.So some reforms must be taken,and a new teaching method must be provided to accelerate the spreading and dissemination of geographic information technology.
