The development of agricultural industry dependson the development of seed sector to a large degree. As amain means of agricultural production, seed is producedand marketed by oneself for a long tine in China. Withthe development of science and technology and the growthof market economy, seed industry has grown into the mostimportant leading sector in developed countries'agricultural industry. As China is gearing its economy andeconomic system to the world after the country's entry intothe WTO, the research on the development strategy ofChina's seed enterprises is particularly necessary.
