摘    要:大量资料分析表明,过去十余年,以引进的美国自交系Mo17及其改良系为亲本的玉米品种数目众多,种植面积广大,居其它自交系之首,引起了国内玉米品种的一次更新换代。1988年以后,Mo17及其改良系的组合在不同地区的面积表现出下降趋势,主要原因是玉启发经叶病,Mo17感病严重,给生产造成了损失。目前国内玉米育种尚未选出骨干替换系,这已成为广大育种工作者急待解决的问题。

Abstract:Analysis through a great amount of information shown that maize inbred line Mo17 introduced from A merica in 1970s is still one of the most important inbred lines in Chinese maize breeding in the past 20 years.It has the high combining ability,wide adapbility and the strong ability of reproduction.In Shaanxi province,the grain yield of combinations of Mo17 in the maize regional test is in the lead for 13 years,and in the whole nation,Mo17 has played an important role in the replacement of the Chinese maize varieties by another.The success of Mo17 introduced indicated that the wide exchange of the maize inbred lines is very necessary; After 1988,Mo17 and its improvment lines have been infected severely by dwarf mosaic virus in all of their planting areas,which caused some losses in the national maize production; At present,the problem for maize breeding is to breed new inbred lines that is better than Mo17.
