Mathematical Analysis of Growth of Diameter and Volume of Picea Crassifolia Forest under Light Tending Felling

Stand growth is an important indicator to evaluate site quality and management of forest,It has important significance to study and analyse growth law of forest and make reasonal mangement for changing stand status and environment.The study shows that the method of tending of l0%impro-ves periodical annual increment of diameter by 85.59%and preiodicalannual increment of volume by 84. 58%in Xiying River experimental plot,cutting intensity of 22%improves periodical annual increment of diameterbreast by 69.20%and periodical annual increment of volume by 65.33%inHaxi experimental plot.By testing of F0.05, growth of diameter breastheight has a singnificant conrelation with volume increase in two experime-ntasl area.
