基于环境指数的人类发展水平的应用研究

摘    要:人类发展指数的影响因素很多,UNDP发布的HDI仅涵盖寿命、教育、经济三方面,因此不能全面反映各地区的人类发展水平。由于环境对人类生活的影响越来越大,因此该论文引入环境指标,选择四项二级指标,通过主成分分析法计算出环境指数。以往指数权重被人为确定,为消除主观性这一缺点本文选用熵权法计算各项一级指标的权重。对2008年和2010年中国各地区人类发展指数的实证研究表明,环境熵权模型的性能优于现有模型。

Abstract:Human development index involves many influencing factors, while the HDI published by UNDP only includes life, education and economy. Thus it can not reflect human development level in various areas comprehensively. As the effect of environment on human life becomes increasingly great, this paper uses PCA to calculate weights for four secondary indicators for environment to construct an environment indicator and introduces the environment indicator into the HDI. Weights of first-level indicators were subjectively set in the past. To solve this problem, we determine them using the entropy weight method. Our empirical study on HDI of 2008 and 2010 shows that the new model performs better than the old ones.
