| Abstract: | The importance of Verticillium wilt of potato and its control are discussed. Among the factors considered in controlling the disease are the role of seed tubers in disseminating the pathogen, the interaction of nematodes and fungus, chemical eradication, the use of tolerant or resistant cultivars, and integrated control measures. |
