笋壳作为动物饲料利用研究进展

笋壳是竹笋加工过程中产生的副产物,鲜笋壳年产量1 570万t,产量巨大。笋壳营养价值较高,且含有多种生物活性物质,是良好的饲料原料。经适当加工处理后可用作反刍动物饲料,少部分也可作为育肥猪的饲料原料。本文综述了笋壳的营养价值、加工方法及其在动物饲养中的应用进展,为笋壳的进一步开发利用提供参考。

Research Progress on Bamboo Shoot Shell as Animal Feed

Bamboo shoot shell(BSS) is by-product of bamboo shoots,with a huge output of nearly 15.7 million tons per year in China.It is a good feedstuff for livestock for its high level of nutritive value and several bioactive substances.BSS can be used as ruminants’ feedstuff,and a little for fattening pigs,after being properly processed.This article mainly summarized nutritive value,processing method of BSS and its recent progress in livestock feeding,which could provide reference for BSS’s further utilization in livestock feeding.
