四川盆地旱坡地生态农业的建设重点与途径

四川盆地的紫色土区,生态环境甚为脆弱,季节干旱频繁,森林覆盖率低,土壤侵蚀严重,坡薄土面积土,土质干瘦。因此,生态农业建设的重点应是雨养农业,采取全面改善生态条件,合理布局农林牧业及应用高产配套技术等途径,以保证农业全面持续发展。

ON THE MAIN OBJECTIVES AND APPROACHES IN ESTABLISHING AN ECOLOGICAL AGRICULTURE FOR UPLAND SLOPING FIELDS IN THE SICHUAN BASIN

The Sichuan is an important agricultural region.Hilly area with purple soils accounts for about 90% of its total area.Although its 30 million mu of upland sloping soils consti- tute the main region for the production of grain,cotton,oil rape,fruit and white mulberry of Sichuan province,the ecological environment there is rather fragile as a result of fre- quent seasonal drought,low forest coverage and severe soil erosion.Land with thin soil layer,which is infertile and drought-prone,accounts for a large percentage of the arca.The above considerations will lead to the conclusion that the focus in establishing an ecological agriculture should be placed on the rain-fed agricultural regions.In order to ensure an all-over and steady development of agriculture,great efforts should be made to rationally distribute farming,forestry and animal husbandry and to apply comprehensive high-yield- ing techniques.
