| Abstract: | Abstract The use of dyes in the physicochemical evaluation of sprayers and spray application methods assumes 100% recovery from targets. Using a red and yellow dye on cotton plants it was shown that a significant percentage of dye was actually retained by the plants. The amount differed for different‐coloured dyes. |
