Study on the Control of Xylinoporus mongolicus Faust

To control Xylinophorus mongolicus Faust was mainly by killing adult through plastic film covering apple seedling, poplar branch trapping and chemical control. The experiment results showed that spraying of 50% Methamidophes, 40% isocarbophos, 96% Dipterex, Padan spryaing(all were diluted with 1000 times of water), and seed dressing with Methamidophos, can kill the pest by 92.7%-100%, 95%respectively. The toxic soil of 50% Methamidophos, 50% Phoxin, 50% Parathion-methyl (in a ratio 1 of 1 to 400) can control the adults, eggs and larvae of 1 st instar and the effect was 97.84%-100%. The results indicated that integrated use of these methods mentioned above was effective on lower- ing the pest population density of next generation and preserving apple seedlings.
