| Abstract: | In order to get real yellow coloured camellias,interspecific crosses between Camellia nitidissima Chi(=C.chrysantha)and C.japonica were conducted and a number of hybrids obtained.Among the hybrids,two of them were selected.They displayed the characteristics of real hybrids.The hybrid X2963 bloomed pale yellow flowers and X115 bloomed red flowers with yellow tints.The inheritance of yellow colour in crosses was discussed. |
