| Abstract: | The paper has comprehensively reviewed the various methods for estimating potential evaporation. The potential evaporation at the Tarim Basin is calculated using the Penman's modified formula. The spatial and temporal distribution of the potential evaporation at the Tarim Gasin is analysed. |
