| Abstract: | This paper briefly reviews the classification,determination and metabolism of is -oflaovnic phytoestrogens,the biological effect of which,especially on reproduction,mammary gland development and human diet for preventing cancer have been discussed.As a valuable physio-regulating agent,isoflavonic estrogens could be used as novel feed additive to control reproduction and nutritional processes,thereby promoting body weight gain in male,accelerating fetal and neonatal animal growth,enhancing the immune function and improving the rumen metabolism in ruminants. |
