| Abstract: | To investigate the influence of different seeding date on growth and yield of spring potatoes,＂Favorita＂was sowed at different dates in Hunan.The results show that（1）Spring potatoes sowed too early in Hunan was apt to suffer late frost injury;（2）The suitable seeding date was the middle and late of December when the yields of spring potatoes reached 1 396.8～1 661.6 kg/667 m2 and the benefit was good,reached 1 281～2 112 Yuan/667 m2;（3）Although the yields reached 1 812.7～2 112.6 kg/667 m2 when spring potatoes were sowed at Jan and Feb,the benefit was lower than that of spring potatoes sowed at the middle and late December,and delayed production of early rice. |
