| 摘 要： | 基于生态足迹理论,分别计算了2009年西部及其12省市区的生态足迹和生态承载力;并借助于前人的部分研究,从生态足迹视觉对西部及其12省市区2009和1999年的可持续发展状态做了纵横向比较。结果表明,不论以当地、全国还是以全球生态承载力衡量,西部2009年均处于不可持续发展状态;1999年西部处在当地和全国尺度上的不可持续、全球尺度上的可持续发展状态。2009年西部大多数省市区处在当地尺度上、全部处在全国和全球尺度上的不可持续发展状态;与2009年相比,1999年西部有较少的省市区处在不同尺度上的不可持续发展状态。总之,2009年西部总体可持续发展态势比10年前（1999年）更弱,有更多省市区滑入不可持续发展状态。
