| Abstract: | This paper reviews the recent advances and situation of tomato breeding in the world,particularly the achievement acquired in the improvement of disease resistantce,arthropod resistantce,quality and abiotic stress tolerantce by using germplasm resources and biotechnology.The current problems and the future direction for tomato breeding in China are also discussed. |
