柑橘灰象甲交配行为与繁殖的研究

在自然条件下,较系统地观察了柑橘灰象甲Sympiezomia citre的交配和繁殖行为。结果表明,该虫的交配主要发生在下午19：00～20：00,占总交配数的43%。连续15 d的观察表明,该虫平均交配了5.47次,最高为15次;交配持续时间最短330min,最长为787min;交配间隔时间最短287min,最长2215min;第1次交配持续时间和间隔时间明显长于而后的交配。交配次数与交配持续时间没有相关性,但与和交配间隔时间有相关性。连续35 d的产卵量观察表明,每雌平均产卵量为35.7粒,产卵量与总交配次数没有相关性。

Mating Behavior and Reproduction in Sympiezomia citre

The mating and reproduction behavior of Sympiezomia citre were systematically observed under natural conditions.The results showed that peak mating occurred between19：00 and 20：00 PM,taking up 43% of the total number of mating.According to the observations of 15 consecutive days,the average mating frequency in this beetle was 5.47 times,and the highest mating times was 15 times;the shortest mating duration was 330min,and the longest was 787min;the shortest mating interval periods was 287min,and the longest was 2215min.The first mating duration and the interval periods were significantly longer than the rest.There was no correlation between the mating frequency,but there was siginificantly difference between the mating frequency and the mating interval period.According to the oviposition observations of 35 consecutive days,the average egg production per female was 35.7,and there was no correlation between egg production and the mating frequency.
