| Abstract: | Through the examinations of pathogens of the violent epidemic disease of cultured Penaeus chinensis and Penaeus Japonicus in1996 in Hebei and Shangdong Provinces,China,and the artificial infection test,a novel pathogen,or paramyxovirus like virus,was discovered from the diseased Penaeid shrimps and shown to be a main pathogen of the outbreak epidemic disease of Penaeid shrimps in our country.The virus mainly invaded hepatopancreas of Penaeid shrimps,and caused the degenerative and necrotic changes of the parenchymatous cells. |
