我国冬桃资源的历史探析

对我国冬桃的历史记载进行整理与考证。冬桃是桃在古代驯化过程中最早形成的栽培类型，它的存在至少有３ ０００ 年以上的历史。我国冬桃品种繁多，性状各异，但都不同程度地带有原始类型的属性，它们对于研究桃的进化和品种改良具有重要价值，是一类宝贵的遗传资源。

Study on the Origin and Early Development of Winter Peach in China

Based on ancient Chinese literature the origin of winter peach and its early development was studied.Results indicated that winter peach would be most probably the earliest cultivated form domesticated from the wild type.It has been cultured in China at least for over 3 000 years.This group of peaches showed plentiful genetic diversity and has many varieties varing greatly in fruit size and other characters,however,attributes of the primitive form can be still found on those presently existed.They are important peach genetic resources.Study in this way will be beneficial in both knowing peach evolution and cultivar improvement.
